Doula Services

The word "doula" comes from the ancient Greek meaning "a woman who serves" and is now used to refer to a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during and just after birth; or who provides emotional and practical support during the postpartum period.

Studies have shown that when doulas attend birth, labors are shorter with fewer complications, babies are healthier and they breastfeed more easily.

Testimonials

"Annick, delivery was great and I have no idea where I went to get the strength to do it naturally, but I managed it. Thank you for the valuable advice, I know they have helped tremendously!"

Sophie

"Annick has played an important role during the birth of our daughter. The delivery did not go as planned: the work was triggered prematurely because of a pressure problem for mom, to end in caesarean section.

However, with the support, guidance and encouragement Annick and Emilie, the experience was positive. I have the certainty of having done everything in my power to have a natural birth. Despite my medical condition, I feel I have succeeded my birth thanks to accompanying. We definitely recommend their services. ''
